Cancellation & Refund Policy

A wedding booking is considered confirmed only after:

• Acceptance of the proposal
• Agreement on service requirements
• Payment of the applicable advance amount
• Written confirmation from The Knotting Co.

The advance payment secures your wedding date and allows us to begin planning, vendor coordination, and preparation.

The advance amount paid towards booking is generally non-refundable as it covers:

• Date reservation
• Initial planning work
• Consultation time
• Vendor discussions
• Administrative preparation

Once a date is blocked, we may refuse other bookings for the same period.

If the client chooses to cancel the wedding planning services after confirmation:

• Cancellation must be communicated officially in writing.
• Refund eligibility will depend on the stage of planning and expenses already incurred.
• Payments made towards third-party vendors, bookings, or non-refundable arrangements cannot be refunded.

We understand that circumstances may require a change in wedding dates.

If you wish to postpone your wedding:

• We will try our best to accommodate the new date based on availability.
• Additional charges may apply depending on vendor availability and changes required.
• Any increased costs due to date changes will be the responsibility of the client.

Many wedding services involve third-party vendors such as:

• Venues
• Caterers
• Photographers
• Artists
• Decorators
• Hotels
• Transportation providers

Refunds related to third-party services will be governed by their individual policies.

The Knotting Co. is not responsible for losses caused by third-party cancellation terms.

In rare situations where we are unable to provide services due to unavoidable circumstances, we will communicate with the client and provide suitable solutions wherever possible.

The Knotting Co. will not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Unexpected emergencies
• Venue-related issues
• Other unavoidable situations
